Final Age Rules Announced - Stronghold Kingdoms

On June 14 2016 Firefly announced their finalized ruleset  for both the 6th and final age in Stronghold kingdoms.

The Final Age brings with it a new rule set:



1. The Final Age begins with 150 Royal Towers on the map.
2. ‘The Button’ can be pressed by the Marshall of the House that controls all towers.
3. Pressing ‘The Button’ ends the world, determining which players claim each reward tier!
4. The Glory Race has no end and Houses are no longer eliminated.
5. The first House to reach 1 million Glory points wins the Round and gains a star.
6. After each Glory Round, towers respawn and tower control is reset.
7. Each Round brings the number of towers down by 10, with a minimum of 20.
8. A new ‘Royal Towers’ tab has been added to the Glory screen.
9. Capital guilds can now be upgraded an additional five levels.
10. No new players may join this game world. Only those who previously had a village on this world may enter it.

Core to the Sixth Age is the new rule set, which is now in effect.

1.The cost to recruit troops in capitals has been halved.
2. Movement speed has increased for Armies and Scouts, they now move at four times the speed of the First Age.
3. Monk movement speed has been doubled.
4. Weapons can now be found in stashes.
5. Weapons can once again be bought and sold at markets.
6. The max faction size is now 10 players.
7. 1 million Glory Points are required to win each Glory Round.

As you can see Sire, you will need to keep your alliances intact in order to assure victory for you and your comrades.

Coat of Arms Tutorial - Stronghold Kingdoms

Lord erze from Stronghold Kingdoms asked me how I recreated the Steam Icon ingame on my Coat of Arms, so here's the Steam Logo step by step tutorial for anyone interested in creating one for themselves. Watch the video below to find out how.

Coat of Arms is a unique image of a shield, designed by each player, to represent their user in game. The Coat of Arms is shown to all players in a game world in various areas of the game interface. Every player can edit their own Coat of Arms using the Coat of Arms Designer.

The user can edit their Coat of Arms at any time by clicking on the image of their own Coat of Arms in game (located in the top left corner of the game interface). The Coat of Arms designer will open in your default web browser.

Designing your Coat of Arms

1. First, pick a layer from the 'Layers' panel.
2. Then choose a design from the options available beneath the layers panel (More options will become available as your gain experience in-game).
3. Click on a design to select it, then change its colour(s) using the 'Colours' panel.
4. Each layer contains different shield designs which can be combined to create your own unique Coat of Arms. You can place 1 'Subordinary', 1 'Ordinary', 1 'Field' and up to 8 'Charges' on a single shield.
5. Click 'Preview' to see how your shield will appear in-game.
6. Click 'Save' to commit any changes made since your last save.
7. If you'd like to undo any changes made, click 'Undo Changes' t go back to your last saved version.
8. The trash can button will remove everything from your shield, so that you can start again from scratch.

TIP: The Coat of Arms can be accessed in-game by clicking on it in most instances. Players can also access the Coat of Arms designer by logging in to strongholdkingdoms.com

Using Your Castle as a Stockpile - Stronghold Kingdoms

You can store stockpile resources for a limited time in your village's castle, this can be a very helpful little trick for a couple special situations, watch the video below for more information.
